When we connect with our inner circle, we often do not capitalize and set those folks up to help us by helping them.

𝐋𝐞𝐭’𝐬 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧:

➡️ Identify who would be a part of your inner circle and come up with a specified list.

→ Mentors, friends, family, colleagues, etc.

➡️ Create a custom email template and include the following info:

→ A high-level overview of who you are, what experience entails, and what you're known for in your craft.

→ What type of opportunities are you most interested in and aligning yourself with?

→ What is the best method to connect with you? Include any documents and info that would be critical intel, such as a resume, cover letter, credentials, etc.

➡️ Offer to add any value in return to them out of good faith.  Plus, you may be able to help them with something, too.

So, stop the by-drive information. It’s not serving you.

We have to help them help us land your next opportunity as efficiently and effectively as possible.
