Carlyle began his career in 1990 within the multifamily residential market, beginning as a Maintenance Technician and reaching the level of Chief Operating Officer. His diverse responsibilities include a combination of Corporate and On-site Operations experience. His expertise is derived from three decades of management through service departments and management offices, including marketing, strategic financial planning, acquisitions, third-party management, successful customer service-based programs, and experience implementation. Assets managed include REIT-based portfolios, Conventional and Military Housing, Low Income Tax Credit, and HUD communities.

Carlyle’s success is based on his proven ability to partner with leading organizations, departments, and individuals in executing strategies that maximize NOI goals to improve upon successful assets, reposition challenged communities, and enhance team building. He has also proven his ability to connect with individuals and teams where they stand in coaching and communicating success.

Throughout Carlyle’s career, he has managed various responsibilities, including operations of over 40,000 multifamily apartments of Conventional, Third Party, Military Housing, and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) communities. Having started his maintenance, leasing, and on-site management career, he brought “boots on the ground” experiences to corporate and executive levels.

Dynamic real estate leader and results-driven full-stack marketing executive with 25 years of successfully directing and implementing strategic go-to-market programs in diverse industries, including multifamily and senior housing nationwide.

Christian has become an expert in digital marketing, demand generation, branding and design, corporate communications, and public relations. He is dedicated to building strong teams and fostering a positive, connected work culture. He has led and served on several award-winning teams and developed a robust network of strategic local and national partnerships throughout his career.

As the VP of Marketing for two national apartment developers/owner/operators with portfolios of 25,000 and 40,000+ units across the US and Canada, he has successfully leased up 40+ Multifamily and Senior new construction communities spanning 14 states.  The asset classes include garden-style, mid-rise, and high-rise, ranging from A-Class urban luxury to C-Class LIHTC.  

Christian has a strong knowledge of demand-gen marketing, including PPC, SEO/SEM, AI, social media, SMS, and email marketing. He is also an expert in branding and design, reputation management, and PR/communications. He is proficient in Yardi, Entrata, and Appfolio platforms.
